Jeff with family

Our Story

Samantha and Jeff Bushell, the founders of London Beloved Pet Cremation, have always been deeply rooted in the London community. Their commitment to family and animals led them to establish a business that served their community and provided a fulfilling life for their own family.

Raising their three children, who are actively involved in school and extracurricular activities, is the Bushells’ greatest joy. Their love for their family pets sparked the idea for London Beloved Pet Cremation. They wanted to be sure that all families received the same compassionate care that their own animals had received.

Jeff, a graduate of Environmental Science from the University of Toronto, has taken on the mission of reducing the carbon footprint of the pet cremation industry. London Beloved Pet Cremation is proud to sponsor ReForest London, offering a wide selection of Canadian-made products to minimize environmental impact. In keeping with Jeff’s dedication to environmental sustainability, the facility’s proximity to nearby animal hospitals also lowers vehicle emissions.

“Sam and Jeff’s dedication to integrity and customer satisfaction is at the core of their business philosophy.”

F.A.Q.s

How do I arrange for my pet to be cremated?

You can call us directly, and we will guide you through the process, or you can ask the veterinary clinic you normally work with to help you select the cremation option that suits you.

Do you perform euthanasia?

No, you will need to contact your veterinarian to help you with the next step in arranging euthanasia. If you do not have a preferred veterinarian, we can make recommendations if you call us directly.

How soon can my pet be cremated and returned to me?

We understand how difficult it is to wait for your pet’s return. Our goal is to accomplish this in the shortest time possible. In most cases, we can do this within one week. Please let us know if you have a special request, and we will make every effort to accommodate.

Can I be sure they are my pet’s ashes if they are returned to me?

This is a widespread concern. We absolutely guarantee that if you choose a private cremation, the ashes of your pet and your pet alone will be returned to you. We operate with the utmost respect for your cherished companion.

What can I do with my pet’s ashes afterwards?

You can choose from various memory urns that fit your taste to keep in your home or perhaps for future burial. Scattering cylinders are also available to help you scatter your pet’s ashes in a meaningful place.

I have nowhere to place my pet’s ashes.

Our gardens will continue to extend with each passing year. Along with our communal ashes, private cremated remains may also be placed in the gardens and on our property.

I have a small, exotic pet. Can you help me?

We can certainly help you with these unique pets. Please call us to discuss the specific details of your pet’s size. If you would like a private cremation of a tiny pet, we have separate cremation containers that will ensure all of the ashes are returned to you.

I am still having trouble with the loss of my beloved companion. Please help.

You are not alone. Please feel free to contact us. We can make referrals to services to help you with your grief. Depending on your circumstances, we also have literature and resources available on our website. Please consider joining a support group, either online or in person, to share with others who have also lost their pets.
